A Belfast practice, not a branch office

Our office is at 252-260 Suffolk Road, Hannahstown, on the western edge of Belfast. Clients come in to sign off a set of accounts, to talk through a year that has not gone to plan, and increasingly to get their Companies House identity verification done in person. We are open Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5pm, and Friday mornings.

West Belfast is where the practice is rooted. The work is not. Our clients trade across the city and the wider Northern Ireland economy: restaurants and multi-site hospitality groups, independent and multi-site retailers, main contractors and subcontractors, manufacturers, and not-for-profit boards. Fifteen years and more than a thousand businesses in, there are very few situations we are seeing for the first time.

We are an accountancy practice of fourteen people. That is deliberately the size where the person who quotes your work is the person who does it, and where a phone call reaches someone who already knows your file.

More about the practice

Four reasons people make the switch

  • 01

You get an answer, not a queue

The most common reason people ring us is that their last accountant went quiet between January and the following January. Unlimited phone and email support is inside your fee, not billed on top, because a question you are afraid to ask is a question that turns into a problem.

  • 02

    Sector depth, not generic advice

Tronc schemes and mixed-rate VAT in hospitality. CIS and retentions in construction. Stock valuation and cross-border trade in retail. We have built proper playbooks in a handful of NI sectors rather than a shallow one for all of them. See the sectors we cover.

  • 03

    Making Tax Digital, handled early

MTD for Income Tax lands on 6 April 2026 for sole traders and landlords over £50,000, then £30,000 in 2027 and £20,000 in 2028. We check your scope against your last return, set the software up, and file the quarterly submissions. How our MTD service works.

  • 04

Belfast-based, and that is the point

You can sit across a table from the people doing your work. For company secretarial matters and Companies House identity verification, being able to walk into a Belfast office with a passport is worth more than any portal. Director ID verification.

Everything an NI business needs, from one team

One relationship across compliance, tax and the advice in between. Every engagement is quoted up front as a fixed annual fee.

Who you would actually be dealing with

Questions we get asked before the first call

How much do accountants in Belfast charge?

It depends on the work, so we quote rather than publish a price list. After a short review of your records and what you actually need, we agree a fixed annual fee up front. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices, and if the scope changes we tell you before any work is done.

Do I have to be based in Belfast to work with you?

No. Our office is on the Suffolk Road in west Belfast and plenty of clients come in, but we work with businesses across Northern Ireland. Records move digitally, meetings happen in person or on video, and it makes no difference to your fee.

Can I switch accountants part way through the year?

Yes, and it is more common than people expect. We handle the awkward part: we write to your current accountant for professional clearance, collect your records, and set up your software. Most clients are fully with us inside ten working days.

Are you ready for Making Tax Digital?

Yes. MTD for Income Tax starts on 6 April 2026 for sole traders and landlords with qualifying income over £50,000, dropping to £30,000 from April 2027 and £20,000 from April 2028. We check whether you are in scope, set up the software, and file the quarterly submissions for you.

Which sectors do you know best?

Hospitality, retail, construction, manufacturing and not-for-profit are where our playbooks are deepest. We also work across trades, agri-food, logistics, property and landlords, healthcare practices, professional services, technology and personal services.

What happens on the first call?

Fifteen minutes, free, no commitment. We ask what you are running, what is currently painful, and what you need filed and when. You leave the call knowing whether we are a fit and roughly what it would cost. If we are not the right firm for you we will say so.

Ready to work with a firm that picks up the phone?

15-minute discovery call. Free, no commitment, no pressure. Find out in one conversation whether we are a fit.
